The First MAAP Research Seminar – Workshop with the theme “Cultivating Responsive Research Culture in MAAP” was conducted. The MAAP community was informed about the researches on the Status of the Philippine Maritime Education and Seafaring Industry as well as the Global Trends and Development in MET, that served as a backgrounder aimed at intensifying the field of the Academy’s research initiatives. The Proposed MAAP Research Program, its Policies and Guidelines and Mechanics of Implementation was also presented that generated, scholarly insights and inputs form the MAAP community.
