MAAP-PresidentWith a great pride and honour, I take this esteemed occasion to invite all the maritime lecturers around the globe teaching navigation, engineering, English and other maritime-related courses to come to this very rare occasion and be actively involved in the joint conferences of the 25th International Maritime Lecturers’ Association Conference, 30th International Maritime English Conference and 14th International Conference on Engine Room Simulators in Manila and Bataan, Philippines.

With the Theme: "The New Wave of Excellence in Maritime Education and Training", we welcome you all to this first joint event of the sub-committees of IMLA, IMEC and ICERS that anyone can join and cross attend any session that interests you during the three parallel conferences. This is a great opportune as English teacher, an engineer lecturer or a navigation lecturer to be immersed or be exposed to another discipline and be able to expand his or her horizon in exchanging of ideas and links in one conference. We feel proud that such great professionals will gather as one and your participation to this rare joint conference will add vision to our ideas and discussion. Lastly, we would like you to experience the Filipino hospitality that you will enjoy and will never forget.

We look forward to meet you in Manila and MAAP in October!
